Ever notice that two days after you clean your glasses, they're just as dirty as they were before you cleaned them? I hate that so very, very much...
Okay, I've had a pretty interesting week this week.
Top Five Best Things:
5-Another pair of $40 boots-these ones are thigh-high lace ups...I loves them so much...!!
4-FOUND THREE GAZETTE ALBUMS IN MELBOURNE!! NIL, STACKED RUBBISH AND DIM!! It set off my heart condition and I couldn't buy ANY of them, but OMG...I've asked about them before in this particular store, too, and they guys told me that they couldn't get in anything Vis Kei because that wasn't the type of store they were...Umm, hello?? They've been selling X Japan stuff there since before I found the bloody store...!! That happens to be Vis Kei, you wankers!!
3-My mother called...I've been meaning to do so and mass email everyone whom I haven't spoken to/seen lately, but other things just keep popping up. It was great to hear her voice again.
2-OMFG!! The arrogant little shit in my Japanese class got PWNED!! He's of the high belief that he's the best in the class (that title OBVIOUSLY belongs to me...I mean, seriously, when you start saying オレ to the teacher, you're DOOMED...but yeah we got our kanji tests back and he realised that it was double sided. He realised this when sensei handed it back to him. The guy sitting next to me felt so much pity for the git. I couldn't stop laughing.
And...
1-Eric's Titanic moment with Hannah at Grill'd. Best thing I've seen all week. It was genius on Celly's behalf. Wows, I still laugh when I think about it. Good job...本当に。。。
Sorry, but for some strange reason, I'm in a Japanese mood...*is listening to the Gazette...*
Top Five Worst Things:
5-Couldn't buy the Gazette albums...*cry*
4-Can't open up Tash's birthday invite on Zac...I don't know why and she's not getting back to me...*cry*
3-I get the feeling I've lost weight...I'm not gonna weigh myself to find out. I really don't wanna know...
2-Hawthorn lost to Essendon. No finals for us *is crushed*. Poor Brad Sewel got knocked out by Matthew Lloyd...seriously, who gets KO'd by someone that old...? We had no Buddy; no Roughead; no Williams; Cyril did his ankle; Luke did his groin in the warm-up; there was a massive wrestling match when Brad was out; Campbell got bloodied up; Bailey went down on his 'good knee' and apparently tore it up after what appeared to be his fifth game in five years and the fugly boy (Dowler) disappeared after kicking a few goals. The moment we lost Brad, we lost the match. And I'm a little pissed off at how Ryder just let him fall the way he did. If a guy it unconsious and lands on you, you don't just run off and let him continue to smack his head on the ground...you help him down. But no, the rivalry is just massively massive and he let him fall.
1-We might have to move back to Scumbury Sunbury. They raised the rent here and Dad doesn't wanna pay it, so we're having to move. He's thinking of us just going back to the Sunbury house. I think it's about time Sammy and I left home, ne? I'd rather live in a cardbord box than move back there. It's my definition of Hell...
Oh, I've finished off the first chapter of 'Not a Fairytale'...I just need to post it now, but that'll probably be much later. I was attacked by another plot bunny last night reading someone else's stuff (can't remember title or author to save my life...) but that's all it is at the moment. Just another plot bunny, no actual writing as of yet...

Mindless Fun (aka AFL)

Yeah, I know I should be sitting here, writing more on my fics, but my love for my Hawthorn Hawks comes first. They're showing it on Channel Ten, but, naturally, it's at least fifteen minutes behind the real game. Fortunately, I can see the live scores on the AFL website and chose to do so while watching my beloved team.
And we finally won. It may have taken us many losses, but we won. Granted, it was against Richmond, but we'll take a win. We need it.
It's great entertainment this week. Poor ol' Buddy is great to watch (when he isn't getting his teeth literally knocked out). This week, we witness him scoring five goals, knock out Ben Cousins, and get into a slight scuffle. Now they're worried that he'll be reported for the hip-and-shoulder KO of Cousins...let's think for a moment. Cousins happens to be the same height as Buddy's freaking shoulder. Of course when they collide, he'll cop it. Buddy can't help it that he's a monster and that Cousin's a midget...
Gotta give it to Graham Pollak, though. Dude was hit by a tram last year, put into a coma and came back this week. Seriously, well done dude.
And I can't help but watch Nathan Brown's performance. Ever since he had his leg snapped, he's always been a good watch.
Strangely, Cyril isn't as explosive as he used to be. Ever since he did his thigh, he's been a little less fun.
Dowler seems to be our Mark-replacement. The brilliance that once was Mark Williams has died out, it would seem.
And we've got slight issues in that Luke might be injured *sigh*. I checked the Hawthorn injury list earlier and just about died. So many of our premier team players are out with major injuries. It gives me an unhappy.
What gives me a happy, though, is that Geelong lost another game. Tis chortle-worthy.
I has a happy. It's called '$40 boots from Novo'. Every pair of boots are only $40. I got these beautiful knee highs and I'm going back tomorrow to get myself and my sister thigh high flats. They're going to be simply amazing. So now I'm looking forward to tomorrow for boots and to see the girls. Hardly any of us have classes together, so it'll be good to sit and chat and gossip while doing uni work.
Oh, and I'm ill. Sneezing and sniffling and wasting tissues left right and centre.

Err, hello??
Jane Austen happened to be an author. One of the most prolific authors of all time. She didn't write movies for crying out loud. How stupid can people be...??

Yes, one of the best looking guys in AFL today played without his mouthguard. And because of this, he now has this disgusting gap in his mouth where one of his two front teeth used to be.
I felt ill. Violently ill.
I always do.
After having braces for three years, I get a ittle squeemish when I see someone lose a tooth. In fact, I'm quite certain I'm so ill over this that I've made several mistakes in writing this. It doesn't make sense and I feel so horrible and now whenever I see the big man play, I'm going to see that damned gap.
You know how some people get crook when they see needles or blood? I'm fine with them. I encourage them (unless you're a drug addict-yay the vampires, though (at least, yay Anne Rice and Whedonverse vamps...them there sparkly ones can be defanged...)) most of the time. However, seeing a good-looking being with a missing front tooth makes me feel sick.
And we just lost the game...bloody cameras keep showing us a toothless Buddy and I can't take it...*watches Merlin instead*.
Now that my social life is on the other side of the world, I have a greater chance at writing. Unfortunately, nothing's come to me in a while, so good luck with that...

So, basically, I haven't had any insipiration to write. The last time I was this dead in the fanfiction world, I had a boyfriend. That isn't to suggest that there is a male in my life, but there is one or two people who are constantly in my life. I'm guessing my lack of posting reflects my sudden social life. For many, many years, I've lived seeing my friends daily at school. That was enough. Now, for some strange reason, I'm finding myself hanging out with people outside class and lectures and skipping classes where I know I have no friends so I can be with others. Since when did I do something like that? Little Miss Rules is dying inside and I stupidly see no reason to mourn her. Me thinks Jinko is taking over. Is that a good thing or not?
I had a plot bunny attack me on the train on the way home last night. I got in, turned on Zac, wrote it down and then had no motivation to actually write the damned thing. One of my friends suggested I stray from slash and make my way to the world of het, but I think that frazzled my brain more...not gonna happen.
I'm hoping that Gazette's latest single (how the hell did I realise it THREE whole days later??? *dies*) will inspire me a bit...unfortunately, I listen to it, which then upgrades to watching it (thank you RMIT for your interwebs...I love using you to download PVs), which then leads to me oggling Ruki and Reita now that Ruki looks so good with all that new styling...gotta love the changes since Guren. Then again, it could all be really good advertising for that jewellery company...that's likely. Anyone else think Kai's looking amazing? I love it how they're taking a more manly look. Granted, I bet Uruha's legs are still smexier than mine and I'd kill for Aoi's wardrobe...and Ruki's hat...and eye make-up...
Anywhos!! I've eaten perhaps half a kilo of yoghurt in two hours and I'm not feeling so well...maybe this was a bad idea...
Gah, back to the fanfiction...HoS is going VERY slowly. I mean, it's as fast as a herd of turtles stampeding through peanut butter...it's not working so well. I gave Lucas the prologue and the first chapter and it's taken him forever to read it because he's making thousands of notes...I only wanted to know if there were any typos...*cries* Then again, I don't really trust his English skills. However, I tend to miss my own mistakes a lot, so I needed someone who would be critical of my work to read it over.
Basically, I'm working on several different stories at the one time. Hopefully, something will stick. I'm sorry it's taking so long for me to update. I don't think I've had a block this bad since I posted WYWS...that's shocking...!!

Teh Awesome Weekend
Jun. 9th, 2009 | 06:47 pm
location: home
mood:
sick
music: Goodbye to You (accoustic)-Michelle Branch
The weekend started as such:
I had a Japanese oral exam at 11:30 on Friday morning. I got everything right but a few particles and I couldn't say どうでしたか to save my life. I can't imagine it'd be all that diffucult to pronounce-I've said it a thousand times correctly-but it just wouldn't come out properly. Bloody nerves...!!
So then after that, I had a meeting with my EMT tutor. Oh Jeremy. He's quite nice to look at, ladies and gentlemen, quite nice indeed. We had to present our portfolios to him along with a document reflecting the three submitted pieces. I had it all on disk, but I also had it backed up on a memory stick. I burnt them all to the disk on Zac. My dear, dear Zac. I love him so much, however, it seems he doesn't love anyone at all. He refused to acknowledge the existance of Mira's external hard-drive (which was perhaps one of the greatest essentials of this year) and wouldn't read the DVD either. Surprise, surprise when Jeremy's computer couldn't read the disk. Zac isn't that nice He'd never write something another computer could read, could he? Where's the fun in that? Instead, he completely froze Jeremy's computer. He killed the computer of my tutor. Of all the things he could have done...oh jeez...It was a good thing that I had put it on the usb or elso I would have been thoroughly screwed. Only, I didn't have the document on the stick. Bloody hell...I had to email it to him later.
Rather than my usual Friday where my sister and I spend hundreds of dollars, I headed home after that. Despite the hours we had to get ready, we pretty much had to run to the trainstation to get there on time. And when we did, we realised something. Celso had set the time for us to meet at his place. Celso is NEVER on time, so the thought of him showing up to his own place before we did was laughable. And laugh we did when we were let into his house by his mother. I'd met her once before, whereas Sammy hadn't ever. Lizzy, his little sister joined us and jeepers is she an amazing little bundle of light. She's nineteen, an artist and absolutely adorable. Oh my is she ever gorgeous. I has a want to kidnap her and keep her as my own little sister. We've pretty much convinced her that Celso and Paul are meant to be together, so it's fantastic.
After Celso finally showed up, Paul came 'round to pick us up. He had his cheerleader friend, whom Sammy and I were told to behave around, with him. Imagine our surprise when she was an awesome brunette whom we now adore. So, after there was much debate around Celso and his guitar, we were off.
We arrived at midnight after many slow runs due to pea soup fog. Seriously, I have never seen such thick fog in my life. Had anything jumped out, we wouldn't have known it. Granted, it would have been a nice diversion from Paul's music. I do hate his selection. It's beyond horrible and Sammy made sure I wouldn't listen to my mp3 player...
That first night had people claiming beds and whatnot. Due to Lucas' hate for cuddling, I got his bed. Sammy got a double to her own. It's nothing new for me to share a bed with Lucas. However, for the first half of the night, we had six people on that bed. Lucas, Bill, Paul, Sammy, Katie and I stayed up so long just talking. It was great. We got so many good quotes.
The next morning was completely ignored. I donm't think I got up until twelve. Lucas got out and headed for the loungeroom after he joked about how long it'd take for the others to remark on that. The next thing I heard was 'It took seven seconds', which was quickly followed by Josh's 'That's what she said!'. It was one of the best calls all weekend. I think the alcohol killed the other good ones.
We played soccer on Saturday. Stupid me brought only ballet flats, so I couldn't run and I couldn't kick. I ended up barefoot in the freezing cold grass. It worked kinda...we won, so I guess it worked. However, I'm black and blue from where Lucas kicked me with the ball point blank...the bastard...and Paul tried to convince Daisy the dog to attack and kill me...bloody wanker...later, we had dinner at a local pub. It was overpriced and horrible, but it was food. We then went to Geelong to see the soccer. They tried kicking us out at 2am, even though we had specifically asked the manager if we could stay for the entire thing. So they set it up for us in the club upstairs. There was a fight which ended up having one guy being carried out by six bouncers, but we drew in the soccer, meaning we'd get through to the finals or something. That night ended with most of us sitting up on the porch talking about absolute crap. Lucas and I ended up talking until eight in the morning. This was after Bill snuck into our room to ask us if we'd tuck him in since the torch wouldn't work-Bill's older than the both of us.
We ended up firetwirling. Can you believe that?? Sunday night had us on the beach under the full moon firetwirling. Twas brilliant. This was after we tried to get to the 12 Apostles. It didn't quite work out. We went half way and realised that it would take us forever to get there. Somehow, we managed to lose the other car. They ended up buying the meat for the bbq...for themselves. They didn't even think to get some for us. We weren't so happy about that.
And then we went home with Paul on Monday...it was a great weekend. Unfortunately, due to Lucas stealing the bloody blankets Sunday night, I've got a horrible cold and find it hard to talk thanks to a sore throat. I'm good during the day, though. It's only when it's colder in the night that it gets to me.

Gwaaaaaaaaa...
Okay, so I just got home perhaps an hour ago for the first time since 8 yesterday morning and boy am I wiped.
I like spending time with Mira, so when she asked if I'd help her with her movie assignment, I agreed. I have no problem with helping. Unfortunately, it meant I had to catch the 8:06 train to be able to in at Southern Cross in time to buy my ticket and get on the 10:00 train to Geelong. I haven't been to Geelong in perhaps a year and it was good to head out there again. Basically, it was a lot of fun. I wasn't acting like I thought I would be, but that was alright. It was still great.
After that, I ended up two hours late for my friend's 21st. I got lost in Footscray trying to find his house. Mira's Crackberry gave me impossible instructions on how to get to the birthday boy's house. Had I gone left, I'd be there in a minute. I went right and had to call up my older sister to Google Map my way there. And guess what? As I approached, Lucas and Paul parked in the driveway...I wasn't happy. But that was fun, also. As it turns out, it has been tradition within the Mai household ever since Celso was eleven to have two cakes. One is to be eaten. The other is to be thrown. And thrown it was. I copped cake on my upper right shoulder after he chased me out into the street...Paul and Lucas were mildly untouched.
It quickly got a little boring, though. Everyone but Lucas and I (by this time, Paul had left because he's a sook) had known Celso since high school, making it really odd. There's only so much that you can say to a stranger but even less to say to a friend when you've hit that state of tiredness and just wanna curl up under a doona and sleep. So Lucas and I left, bought us a bottle of a sparkly white and slept once we had finished it when we got back to his house.
I must point out that, regardless to the questions we kept getting that night, Lucas and I are not dating. Just because I play Wii games with him doesn't mean that we're dating. For some unknown reason, it translated to us being a couple according to half of Celso's guests, which isn't accurate.
And now I'm watching Geelong kick Melbourne's arse in AFL. Hawks lost to Adelaide, which is a horrible ouch that stings. We can't seem to win now that we have our entire back line out with injuries. I also saw the Melbourne Vixens beat the Firebirds earlier in netball, so we at least succeeded in that.
Goshes I'm so tired. I really need some sleep. And my throat hurts so badly. Me hopes there is no cold on the way, but it seems to be a possibility...

Anyways, I really, seroiusly, don't have a life. In fact, the guest lecturer just jangled his keys and I got the flashback of Merlin (The Beginning of the End-holy FUCK I need a life...) where he stole Arthur's keys and jangled them around. Actually, I have a three hour gap on Mondays to do what I will. Today, I finished an assignment and watched the Doctor Who episode 'Midnight', just for Colin Morgan. I have to admit, he makes quite the cute emo. I normally don't find them all that adorable-the skinny legs scare the crap out of me since I'm terrified of everyone who looks skinnier than me-but he manages. I think his biceps destroy the image of a skinny little boy.
On that line of thought, I would like to apologise to those who read my fanfictions and are waiting for updates and whatnot. I've started 'Claimed', 'Hand of Sorrow', 'A Week in Winter' (a Merlin/Arthur ficlet) and a new story (yet another Merlin/Arthur). I've got about two pages of 'Claimed' and 'HoS' and roughly twenty pages on 'AWiW'. I've had a lot of assignments lately and they've been done and holidays are soon, so I'll do a lot of writing, I promise. I hope to have 'AWiW' posted soon. I've only got two or three more chapters to write before it's done. So yeah, I just read another fanfiction while this guy has ranted about sound on films...
I'm going to enter a competition. It has nothing to do with my own talent, and it's the first time I've ever done anything like this, but I'm hoping my luck will pull through and that I'll be sent to France to meet the cast of Merlin. Hell yeah, I'd love to meet them. I've been cooing over them for weeks now. I'm such a lifeless fangirl *sigh*. So I sent my older sister out to buy me two packets of crumpits so I could enter the competition.
Zach's been good to me today. He's only stuffed up once. Zach is my beautiful baby
Ooooh...the lecturer just put up a screen on the overhead projector...he's so old...I really don't see what this has to do with my course, but who cares? I'm using up the interwebs during such a useless lecture.
I want to start drawing again. I haven't drawn in a while. I adore drawing, but I'm kinda useless at it and I think I'm terribly creatively drained. Gwaaaaaaaaaaaaa...

How I hate humanity...

I'm not a very nice person. I very rarely do things out of the kindness of my heart. Yesterday, I agreed to help a friend with an oral presentation for Japanese class tomorrow. He and I are great friends. Hell, we've kissed and he's given me a lapdance...however, when he's an hour late after I've travelled an hour into the city, I get a little annoyed. I get a little pissy when it's my day off and I had two Section One games of netball to play. I get royally pissed off when he's an hour late after he set the time. It just doesn't work for me. I prefer to be there half an hour early than be five minutes late. I downright refuse to do it and I hate it when it's done to me.
Anyways, I ended up getting twenty-five dollars worth of chocolate at Max Brenner's, so it's all good. I was overly happy and fat after that. Twas good and worth the wait, especially since Hannah showed up and made the hour wait so much better...
But we gossiped and we chatted and we studied for a test that he's not likely to do anyways. We were supposed to go see Lucas' play tomorrow night, but footy is happening then, and that's gonna be with Rob, so things are getting a bit confusing. I might end up dragging Rob to Lucas' afterwards since the boys are doing something...me thinks it'd be a good idea to bring dear Rob to meet the boys, but I don't know how he'd cope. He's an early-to-bed, early-to-rise type and we stereotypically don't wake up until twelve-ish...I think he'd really struggle with that...and the alcohol...gwaaaaaaaaaa...Jinko doesn't know...
Fanfiction-wise, I'm perhaps a third of the way through my new Arthlin...unfortunately, I haven't touched 'Hand of Sorrow' for quite a while now...not since the 28th of April...shit...
And now I have a kanji test to study for...*sigh*

Obsession

Anywhos, it made me think of how for the sound assignment, I should have done obsession...someone could have recorded me watching a game just to see how obsessed I am. I'm a born and bred Hawks fan. I'm actually quite sick of all the girls that are now fans because we won the GF last year and because they all find Buddy hot. Wow...Roughead (or Big Sinnott if you're in my household) just got his eighth goal of the game...I hope he gets the Coleman Medal.
I'm sick and tired of Fevola in all honesty. Fevola, Ablett and Buddy. They're not as good as everyone builds them up to be. It's the amazing players like Chance Bateman, Cyril Rioli and (I just realised that we're twenty-five hours away from the Aus premier of Merlin...!!!) Lovett-Murray from Essendon that make a good game. Yes, they are all Aborigines, but there's no one who can outrun or outtackle them. Just you watch. Ah crap, Fevola just got another goal...however, I'm glad that the commentaters hate him...they joke about how precious he is. They also conviniently claimed 'Fev wants it deep', which had the yaoi fangirl in me messaging my older sister.
My all-time favourite player is Chance. He's such a brilliant little player. Him and Cyril. Cyril's only a few weeks older than I am...crap, Fevola just got another goal...Thank whomever for Murphey, he just saved us a bit...we're in the last four minutes, I'd say and there's a goal between it...my heart is pumping, guys...!! Five points...OMFG!! Come on, final siren...!! Oh crap oh crap oh crap oh crapohcrapohcrapohcrapohcrap...bad Cyril...! Oh shit... ... ...YES!! Fucking Fevola hit the post!! He was, what...? Twenty metres out and it HIT THE POST!!
AND THE HAWKS WON!! Four points, all because FEVOLA SUCKS!! Phew...it would have been really bad to lose to Carlton...it feels great to beat them...!!
We're the mighty team of Hawthorn/ Because Fevola hit the post-I like my change in the theme song...have a cry, Fev, have a cry...
Anywhos, just thought I'd ramble on that and show off my new Chance icon...I quite enjoy making these things now...XD

bored

So now I'm working on 'Hand of Sorrow'. I've written most of the prologue, and I'm enjoyng it so much. I'm living this so much more than I liked 'My Own Control'.
However, I fear I've found something that's gonna drag me down, and that's BBC's Merlin. I have another week before it airs on Australian TV, but I've watched all thirteen episodes already (thank you, Youtube and my neighbour's internet connection), and I'm addicted. I was reading the fanfiction before I had even seen the first episode. It's nuts and I love it and I'm beyond addicted...hence all my numerous icons. I spent most of Saturday making these icons...I really like the 'eyesex: it's good for the fangirls' one that I made. Oh, by saying that, I suppose I must add in my Arthlin obsession. Even the two female actresses want them to get together for crying out loud. It's now my background and goshes, I need more of it. Rumour is, though, that a second season will be airing in the UK in September...I's looking forward to that.
What I find funny is that Huthin, Merlin's mother, seems to try her hardest to set the two boys up. That woman rocks...XXD
So yeah, I'm hoping to find the inspiration to write something for it. Unfortunately, there are far too many one-shots out there where Merlin admits his magical abilities to Arthur, which then ends up in a quick lemon. No! Is not what I want! I want an epic fic including an enemy, or an accident or something that'll last at least ten chapters...!
I had an idea where maybe the Great (Slash) Dragon possesses someone outside the castle and can therefore seek his revenge on Uther through that person. Or maybe Merlin is attacked by something that's out for his magic. That one might be fun and angsty to write...sounds perfect for mes.
Anywhos, it shall be thought about, but I'll try to prevent it from getting in the way of 'Hand of Sorrow'. That's well on its way, peoples. Little Harry is so much fun to write. I just have to remember to keep him as brave as he is.

So as it is, I've discontinued 'My Own Control' for now. It's just not at a happy place in my mind and I just wanna stop it, so I have. I feel as if I'm not a good neough author, despite all the different reviews I've gotten saying that I am. Honestly, I've got a flame or two where they've told me that I'm not good enough and I feel as if they're right. Mind you, these people usually don't sign their flames, so I can't check up on how good they are, but I still think they're right. Hell, even the title 'My Own Control' has been criticised, even though I thought it was a fairly good title...
Now, I'm writing 'Hand of Sorrow'. I've taken down my poll and that one won (unfortunately...I was really looking forward to writing 'Claimed'...) It's taking me a while to get it going, but once I get past this prologue, it'll be really easy. You can expect it in a few weeks. I'm just being so anal about enjoying it that it's taking me some time.
Anywhos, hang on for those things, okay?
And just as a promise, 'My Own Control' will be re-written. I've had the plot stuck in my head for two years now and I'm not letting it go. It's mine. XD
When I'm happy with it, I'll post it again. But for now, please enjoy whatever crap I'll spill out, ne?

Okay, so...I want to write my future stories in higher detail than what I have on my profile at FF.Net...
First off, I'm gonna advertise 'Claimed'. This one is second in the poll so far...at first, it was second, but then everyone started to vote for 'Hand of Sorrow', which is really frustrating...everyone always votes for the stories I don't wanna write...*cries*
Anywhos...
Claimed: James Potter is the King of the Wizards. His counterpart is Lucius Malfoy, the King of the Nymphs. When Voldemort begins culling both races to rule over them, the two kings decide that a merger was needed. With that plan in mind, Prince Harry and Prince Draco are brought together in an attempt to wed them off.
However, when Draco's older brother, Orion, is killed by Voldemort, Draco is considered the heir and can no longer go through with the wedding.
There's a twist, though. Draco is pregnant with the bastard child of the future kings of both races. And there's no way in hell that Voldemort wouldn't overlook that.
Twenty chapters plus epilogue
In short, it's MPREG, it's an AU, it's angsty and it's my favourite to write other than NaF...
Not a Fairytale: Every fairytale has a truth to it. Set in the seventh year, Voldemort discovers the 'Never After' potion and decides to try it out on his least favourite Death Eater. Thanks to Draco's disappointing attempt at Dumbledore's life, he was chosen to drink the potion to see what would happen. He falls into a deep sleep and doesn't wake until the sun goes down. The only cure is a kiss from his one true love. Disgusted, Severus takes Draco to Hogwarts so that he could be taken care of. Minerva agrees and lets Draco stay in the Room of Requirement, where Harry finds him. Feeling the pressure of life without Dumbledore, Harry falls into his own isolation and is intrigued by Draco's presence. They fall for each other but they have a reason to worry when Draco is kissed by another in his sleep.
Nineteen chapters plus epilogue
It's a lot more fun in my mind than anything else that I have planned, except for the first half of Claimed. It's also perhaps a bit darker than anything I've written, so that'll make it all the more fun.
Side couples: Severus/Remus
Hand of Sorrow: Inspired by the song by Within Temptation. Harry was taken in by Albus when his parents were killed by Voldemort. He was six. He is raised to be the perfect assassin and has killed Voldemort before his teen years. The real trouble is his followers, which are left over. Not only that, but he's living in Hogwarts without actually having anything to do with the students around him. On his way home one night, he sees someone his own age and is instantly intrigued by him. Over the years, the two form a friendship and then a love while Harry tries to destroy the left over army.
The painful part of it is that the leader of the army is Draco's father.
I don't know how many chapters *tear*
This is another fun one, I guess. It's gonna be angsty of course and I'm gonna love writing Harry as the kid that doesn't know how to play with others.
Side couples: Severus/Remus
The Rose and the Pearl: Inspired by the song 'I'm Not That Girl' from the 'Wicked' soundtrack. Both Harry and Draco were born into privelleged lives. As children, they grew up as best friends. A few years later, Harry is orphaned and is treated as a slave by his aunt and uncle. After years of their emotional abuse, he re-enters the life he originally knew when Vernon's illness pushes Petunia and Sirius is proven to be a worthy guardian. Even though he was born into that world, he has so many issues with it and finds himself unsure about himself. He doesn't see himself worthy enough for his friends or for Draco, who admits his feelings for Harry despite being in a relationship.
What's worse is that while all this is going on, the state takes Vernon to court for what he had done to Harry. Not only that, but Draco's own life is threatened when his relationship with Theo becomes abusive.
It'll be at least twenty chapters.
I adore planning this one. It's an AU, obviously, but it's likely to be my first non-magic fic...it's going to be a lot more romantic than anything else I've written, which is why I adore writing it so much. You can tell that Draco's fallen for Harry and that Harry returns it, but Draco's forced into a relationship and Harry doesn't think he's good enough...it's gonna be great.
Side couples: Severus/Remus; Theodore/Draco (like I could go too far without that!)
My not-so-well-planned-fics:
The Lucky Ones: Harry is an Auror who is sent messages with secret hints regarding the future murder of non-convicted Death Eaters. When these Death Eaters are murdered three days after the message is sent, Harry realises that there's a vigilante on the run and takes up the case. After he deciphers the fourth clue as a threat against Draco's life, he steps in and prevents it. However, that forces the vigilante into an obsession with Draco and also forces Auror and ex-Death Eater into a closer relationship.
I plan to turn this one truly epic...I want several chapters and darkness and twists and turns and I have high hopes for this one.
Family Secrets: Prince Harry is saved from death but is sent to an orphanage after Tom Riddle destroys his family. Left to live like a pauper, Harry's life is turned upside down when the son of a Duke approaches him to be his guide. What's more, Draco doesn't even know that Harry's the missing Prince and he doesn't let him know. Draco comes back every year at the same time and gradually, feelings start to develop. However, thanks to Riddle's new laws, having such feelings for another man is reason enough for a man to be executed.
When Harry reveals that he's of noble blood, Draco convinces him to take his place back.
I dream of this one often. I can't wait to write it properly. It's another non-magic AU.
Side couples: Severus/Remus (maybe...I haven't figured out how to work them in just yet...)
So yeah....! That's what I'll be working on over the next however many years... ... ...
